Recovery Resources *For those recently impacted by February Floods:

  • CalFresh – Any household that has lost food purchased with CalFresh benefits will have through Mar. 6, 2025, to
    request replacement benefits. Shasta County gained approval to waive a 10-day deadline for CalFresh clients to request replacement benefits. These lost CalFresh benefits can be a result of power outages or flooding due to storms that began Feb. 3, 2025, or due to some other disaster.

  • Good News Rescue Mission: All are welcome to sit in their chapel during the day, and/or stay in their shelter at night. 530-241-5754.
