No-Cost Flu Clinics
Protect yourself and your loved ones from the flu! Tehama County Public Health is hosting
several Flu Clinics throughout the community. This is your opportunity to stay healthy and flufree this season.
Red Bluff:
Date: November 21, 2024
Time: 9:00 AM– 3:00 PM
Location: LIFT Event -Tehama County Fairgrounds – 650 Antelope Boulevard
Corning:
Date: October 24, 2024
Time: 10:30 AM—12:30 PM
Location: Corning Senior Center – 1015 4th Street
Rancho Tehama:
Date: October 29, 2024
Time: 9:00 AM—11:30 AM
Location: Rancho Tehama Recreation Hall -17605 Park Terrace Road
Important Information:
Flu Shots for All Ages: According to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the
flu can lead to serious illness and even death. To safeguard your health, it’s recommended that
everyone aged 6 months and older receives a yearly flu vaccine. Pregnant women are also
strongly encouraged to get vaccinated.
Dress for Success: Please wear loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to your upper
arm. This will ensure a swift and comfortable vaccination process.
Prevent co-infections: Getting vaccinated can also prevent co-infections of influenza and
other illnesses.
High Dose Vaccines: There will be limited doses of High-Dose Flu vaccine at these clinics for
individuals 65 years and older. The high does vaccine is also available through all of our local
pharmacies.
No COVID-19 Services: Please note that this clinic will solely focus on flu vaccines. There will
not be COVID-19 testing or vaccines available on-site.
No Pneumonia Vaccines: Unfortunately, pneumonia vaccines will not be available.
Your health matters and taking this simple step can make a significant difference in staying
well during flu season. Remember, getting vaccinated not only protects you but also helps
prevent the spread of the flu in our community. Let’s work together to keep our friends,
