Tehama County has recently experienced a decrease in COVID-19 testing throughout the community. In order to obtain an accurate count of the changing COVID-19 rates within the county, we need a consistent amount of the community to be tested. With schools returning to session and state approval for reopening businesses dependent on stable testing numbers, this is especially important. Tehama County Health Services Agency asks the community to please go and get tested even if you do not have symptoms. Community testing is one of the most important tools we have to track and stop the spread of COVID-19, continue reopening more services, and promote the safety of our community. This depends on the support of individuals, communities, and organizations. We all have a role to play and we urge our community to exercise personal responsibility to protect public health.
