Flood preparation and resources
- Remember to Turn around, don’t drown! A mere 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock over an adult. It takes just 12 inches of rushing water to carry away most cars and just 2 feet of rushing water can carry away SUVs and trucks. It is NEVER safe to drive or walk into flood waters.

- If your home becomes uninhabitable due to weather conditions, call American Red Cross: 855-891-7325. Provides immediate emergency response services such as shelter, food, clothing, and supplies to those affected by local disasters. Also provides information about how to file claims for loss and damage reimbursement, and information about rebuilding assistance.
