Feeling overwhelmed by the rebuilding process? Struggling with feelings of grief or anxiety. We don’t have to be “Stronger than Carr” alone.
The newly launched Cal HOPE Shasta outreach team will meet with survivors wherever they would like in the community, listen, discuss coping tools and connect them with recovery resources. Services are free and anonymous.
Cal HOPE Shasta aids people in finding their own solutions to the challenges they are facing and can give them the tools to recognize when they might need additional help. Look for the team out in the community in their white vests, email email@example.com, call (530) 638-5011 or visit the www.calhopeshasta.com website for more information, including common symptoms of disaster distress.
Cal HOPE Shasta is a funded by FEMA and services are carried out by staff at Northern Valley Catholic Social Services.
